Hello! We are Robert and Vanessa Irving, serving in the Brazilian Amazon with our daughter, Esther. God brought us together through a shared desire to reach the unreached and led us, step by step, toward the Jarawara people. After years of preparation and prayer, we made this our home to share Jesus through both word and daily life.
Our mission is to make disciples, strengthen the church, and help God’s Word take root in the Jarawara culture. We focus on relationships, Bible study, and training local believers to teach others. Through translation work, literacy support, and community outreach, we aim to see the Jarawara church thrive and multiply in faith.
OUR MISSION
Every season tells a new story of God’s faithfulness—from lives changed through discipleship to Scripture recorded in the Jarawara language. We love sharing glimpses of life in the village and celebrating what God is doing here. Each update reflects His grace at work in ways we could never accomplish on our own.
