Our mission is to make disciples, strengthen the Jarawara church, and see the gospel take deep root in their language, culture, and community. We believe lasting transformation happens when God’s Word is heard and lived out from within a people. That’s why our focus is relational and long-term—walking with the Jarawara as they grow in faith, leadership, and love for Jesus.

We invest mainly in discipleship, leadership development, and Bible engagement. Small group Bible studies and one-on-one discipleship form the heart of our week. These gatherings—often in homes or under a tree—center on reading Scripture, praying, and applying God’s truth. We’re seeing incredible growth as new believers learn to teach and encourage others.

A key focus is Scripture access. The New Testament has already been translated into Jarawara, and with YWAM Porto Velho and Celeiro Missions, we helped record Genesis and Daniel in audio form. Hearing those stories in their own language brought smiles, laughter, and tears. We’re now praying toward completing the rest of the Old Testament.

Leadership development remains central. We mentor believers like Kaike, a young Jarawara leader who now preaches and helps guide his church. Our prayer is that a new generation of indigenous believers will carry the gospel into surrounding villages. As that happens, our role shifts toward encouragement and support, letting the local church lead the way.

We also engage in community helps—practical expressions of the gospel that meet real needs: maintaining the village airstrip, building homes, and providing care kits in times of need. Each project opens doors for discipleship, conversation, and prayer.

Ultimately, we long to see the Jarawara church thrive—anchored in Scripture, led by its own people, and multiplying disciples who share the hope of Jesus across the Amazon.
